Class Description

DOMINANT DOGS *Agility* CLASS
This class is for GRADUATES OF THE DOMINANT DOGS CLASS ONLY. This class is NOT competition-based, but is classified as "therapeutic agility".  The idea is to give dominant dogs a chance to get some exercise and culture some off-leash skills.  This class is for dogs who are dog-reactive, but not aggressive toward people. Handlers MUST have taken a Dominant Dogs class first to gain attention and focus skills in a classroom setting.  Class sizes is limited to only 4 dogs so that each dog/handler team can gain some individual time in the fenced ring while the other teams work in adjacent fenced rings and outside the ring.

  • This class is held outdoors in a fully fenced arena and is taught by Certified Behavior Counselor, Michele Godlevski
     

  • Dogs should be at least 7 months of age.

  • Each class is 45 minutes in length.

Class: Youngsville Location: Tuesday evenings, 7:30-8:15 pm
Tuition: $145
Maximum # Students: 4
Session:

  • 6 wks total

  • 1st week of class is orientation with out the dogs. 

  • Classes are weather-dependent.  Please call the agility weather hotline at 855-0422, mailbox #2 before coming to class.  A weather call will be made no later than two hours before the start of each class.

  • Each class is 45 minutes in length.

Pre-Requisites:
  • Pre-registration with proof of vaccinations & pre-payment is required. 
  • Please note:   These classes sometimes fill up more than a month ahead of start date. Please register early.  If you are unable to get into a class, please consider a private lesson.
  • Proof of vaccinations or titers must be brought to first class. 
  • Dogs should be at least 7 months of age.
  • DOGS MUST BE GRADUATES OF OUR DOMINANT DOGS CLASS
  • This class is for dogs who are dog-reactive, but not aggressive toward people.
  • Please note that only adult handlers are allowed in our specialty behavior classes due to the nature of the behavior of the dogs in the class.
  • Teamworks is closed for Easter Weekend, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day weekend, the week of Thanksgiving, and 2 weeks from Christmas through New Years.

  • Class schedules subject to be changed and extended due to severe weather conflicts and due to occasional conflicts in instructor's schedule.  Your instructor will notify you of any schedule changes. Severe weather related cancellations will be posted on voice mail at
