Class Description

FEARFUL FIDOS CLASS
The Fearful Fidos class is a remedy class designed for the dog who is very anxious in new situations or around new people or dogs.  This class is for the dog who consistently reacts to new situations, people, or other dogs by showing fearful behaviors like trembling, hiding, snapping, or fear biting.  The class is aimed at building confidence through the use of positive reinforcement and successful experiences.  The goal is to increase overall social confidence and sense of security in new situations.

  • This class is held indoors and is taught by a Master Level Instructor.

  • Dogs should be at least 5 months of age.

  • Each class is 45 minutes in length.

 

Class Details
Class: Raleigh Location: Tuesday evenings, 6:30-7:15 pm
Cary Location: Monday evenings, 6:30-7:15 pm

PLEASE NOTE: THIS CLASS WILL CONSIST OF AN ORIENTATION,
AN INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATION, AND THEN 4 WEEKS OF CLASSES WITH DOGS. CONSULTATIONS WILL TAKE TWO WEEKS TO COMPLETE, SO PLEASE ALLOW A TOTAL OF 7 WEEKS FOR THIS CLASS TO BE COMPLETED.
Tuition: $145
Maximum # Students: 4
Session:

  • 6 wks total

  • 1st week of class is
    orientation with out the dogs. 

  • 2nd week of class is a 30 min. private consultation with the instructor.

  • There will be a one week break in classes to allow for all consultations to occur.

  • Each class is 45 minutes in length.
Pre-Requisite:
  • Pre-registration with proof of vaccinations & pre-payment is required.  Proof of vaccinations or titers must be brought to first class.  Dogs without proof of vaccinations or titers will not be able to participate. 
  • Please note:   These classes sometimes fill up more two months ahead of start date. Please register early.  If you are unable to get into a class, please consider an in-home obedience consultation.
  • Dogs should be at least 5 months of age.
  • Please note that only adult handlers are allowed in our Fearful Fidos and Dominant Dogs class due to the nature of the behavior of the dogs in the class.

  • Teamworks is closed for Easter Weekend, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day weekend, the week of Thanksgiving, and 2 weeks from Christmas through New Years.

  • Class schedules subject to be changed and extended due to severe weather conflicts and due to occasional conflicts in instructor's schedule.  Your instructor will notify you of any schedule changes. Severe weather related cancellations will be posted on voice mail at
