In Loving Memory of My Sweet

CHEYENNE

Shiny, you have always been a good girl and everyone's friend.

You went from a scared puppy in the back of cage #5 at the SPCA...to a dog who wouldn't leave the yard to go on a walk because you wanted to stick close to home...to a star-of-the-obedience-class dog, my first  therapy dog, and my first agility dog.  You taught me patience and gentleness and gave me a true understanding of working as a team to gain your confidence.   You inspired my love of dog training  with your endless enthusiasm to get up at 5:30am to train each day and your willingness to try anything new. Your sweet face was loved by many, and you won over even those not fond of dogs.   The folks at Raleigh Rehab, who have known and loved you for 10 years will miss you so much - you were the highlight of their days -  Chris will miss you so much.  You lived happily as the "only dog allowed on the couch", the "happy Omega", the "original" present-opening dog,  and the all-around sweet and calm one of our pack.  You weathered two pretty tough last days through lots of pain and stuck it out so that you could say goodbye at home, on the couch, all cuddled up in blankets...snug as a bug in a rug...the way you loved to be.  We will miss you so much, Shine.
