- * Dog & handler team should have already taken agility classes, including classes in which dogs were instructed on obstacles at full height.
Dogs who have never taken agility classes, or who are obviously afraid of the
obstacles due to inexperience on them should not attend. There is no instruction provided
in this session but handlers who's dogs are obviously inexperienced will be questioned by
the session monitor about their class experience. (See agility classes at Teamworks. Private lessons also
available.)
- Handlers must bring a photocopy indicating proof of vaccinations (Rabies
& DHPP) for all dogs. Once a copy is on file, handler is only responsible for
bringing in updated files.
- Handlers must sign waiver
for files.

| Rules: |
- Dog should be able to work in the presence of other dogs
without leaving their handler to go to another dog. Dogs who are easily distracted should
be worked on lead.
- "No unsolicited sniffing" courtesy rule in
effect at all times on the course and off.
- Clean Up : All handlers must clean
up after their dogs when on the premises of the training facilities. This
includes scooping all solids in either location left inside the ring or out. This also
includes using the disinfectant spray bottles provided for all urine in the indoor
location, and anywhere on the agility field, including the enclosed sand, the agility
equipment, and the fence.
- Females in Heat: Female dogs in heat should not be brought to
the agility ring.
- No food should be placed on the obstacles themselves
(target plates provided).
- Humane Treatment: Any person using the
facilities of Teamworks Dog Training must agree to use humane training methods that would
reflect the Teamworks
Dog Training philosophy. Specifically, no shock collars will be allowed, no
ear-pinching, and no physical punishment, harsh or inhumane treatment of dogs will be
tolerated.
- For safety reasons, no metal collars are allowed in the agility ring.

| Equipment: |
- The Teamworks agility arena is fully fenced 102' x 100' leveled ring
with a packed mortar sand base. It has stadium lighting, ample parking and nearby
fields, and a bathroom facility.
- The equipment is designed for AKC & NADAC regulations; there are two dog walks (each
allowable AKC height), an adjustable A-frame, a see-saw, six pipe tunnels three 20' and
three 15'), a chute, two tables (one adjustable), an adjustable tire, 5 sets of weave
poles (two spring, one weavamatic, and two rigid, all at 21" spacing), a triple jump,
and several different styles of winged and non-winged jumps.
